The buck stops here folks – if you love South Africa, your family and your life, you need to do this course. It was very informative, direct and thought provoking. Whilst Kelee “pulls no punches” as to the seriousness of crime, she gives you the choice to decide what methods you would use to protect yourself and your household. As we all live thinking “it won’t happen to me” you must have an upfront plan as to what your reactions would be – putting those practices into place is what is most important as in the heat of the moment, you have no time to strategise. Her experience and knowledge of what signs to look for in a “would be suspect” has helped me to look at people in my neighborhood in a different light. You have a RIGHT not to have anyone invade your personal space – we are too complacent. I think going through the motions of the physical side of defence has also helped me to feel more confident when I am out alone walking my dogs.
